Introduction as Guest Speaker

Our speaker, BOB GANTUANGCO, is a computer engineering graduate and has been in the Internet industry for 20 years.

He is the co-founder of the Digital Commerce Association of the Philippines or DCOM, a private non-stock and non-profit organization. Among his co-founders are key players in the Philippine e-commerce industry with a mission to make Filipino merchants globally competitive in digital commerce and to ensure the growth of trade and investment in the Philippine digital commerce industry. The organization also partners with the government in shaping sound policies on digital commerce.

Our speaker is a regular judge and speaker at The Asia Smart App Awards, an annual event unifying 15 co-organizers from all over Asia (Cambodia, Israel, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Mainland, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka ,Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam) to encourage the development of the expanding smart application industry.

He was the former COO/CTO of INQUIRER.net, where he spearheaded the technical and business development of the company's online news platform at the time of its inception.

He is currently the President and CEO of TechCellar Business Solutions - a full service website design and software development company catering to both start-up and growing enterprises, from micro, small to medium-sized and large corporations.

His team also provides interactive digital marketing and consulting services necessary for emerging and growing businesses in the digital-enabled marketplace.
